The Exposure Photography Festival announces its call for Exhibition Listings and Event Listings each year in early fall, with a deadline for listings in November. These are calls for photo-related programming to be included in the Festivals roster of activities in the following February. In addition, Exposure also announces the call for submissions for the annual Emerging Photographers Showcase and Open Call exhibitions in late summer, with a deadline in October.

Support the festival by hosting an exhibition of photography during the month of February and listing your exhibition with Exposure. Exhibitions take place in museums, galleries, community centres, cafés, or retail shops, among other possible locations. Exhibitions may be organized by curators, gallerists, photographers, or other community members with an interest in photography. To be included in our listings your exhibition must take place during February, and run either part of, or all of the month.
The Exposure Festival contributes to the dynamic cultural life of Alberta, creates a vibrant network of practicing photographers, and elevates the discourse in photography, benefitting us all. Emerging Photographers Showcase
In order to be eligible to submit for the annual Emerging Photographers Showcase, hosted annually in Calgary, Alberta, photographers must identify as an emerging artist, and must reside in Alberta.
International Open Call
Photographers are invited to submit work to the open theme exhibition, Open Call. Hosted annually in Calgary, Alberta, this exhibition is open to international mid-career to established photographers.
