Sikapinakii Low Horn
ARTIST BIO
Sikapinakii (“Black Eyed Woman”) Low Horn is a Blackfoot artist from Siksika First Nation. They earned a BFA from Alberta University of the Arts in 2019. Working across multiple mediums, Low Horn draws on Blackfoot teachings and stories to educate audiences about Blackfoot history and culture. Their work incorporates bold, traditional imagery to create welcoming spaces, while ongoing research focuses on the history of Blackfoot cowboys.
