Join us in person for a photography workshop focussed on digital capture and file management platforms, led by acclaimed photographer Scott Rowed.

Born and raised in Jasper, Scott learned to ski and climb at an early age. As a member of the Association of Mountain Guides, he guided heli skiing for a number of years, led treks in Nepal and worked as a pilot. Photography became a career as he documented mountain adventures. His work has been published in National Geographic Magazine and books, Powder, Ski, Travel Alberta, Tourism BC, Tourism Canada, Fairmont Hotels, CMH, Pursuit and many more.

Scott started digitizing film in the 1990s with film scanners, but now uses mirrorless and DSLR cameras. This workshop will focus on equipment and techniques to achieve professional quality while keeping costs under control. We will also cover processing and cataloguing digitized images, much of it using open-source software.

Limited to 12 participants.
