ABOUT EXPOSURE 2023 & cSPACE PARTNERSHIP

Exposure is partnering with cSPACE to provide discounted exhibition spaces in February 2023 for the upcoming festival. This partnership is designed to support local Artists, Photographers, Collectives, Curators and Creatives find an exhibition space for the festival and to become a 2023 Exhibition Partner!

ELIGIBILITY

The annual Exposure Photography Festival presents a diverse programme of exhibitions that celebrate, challenge and incorporate the photographic medium. Exposure welcomes all photography based and/or related exhibitions accessible to Albertans in February 2023.

EXHIBITION SPACES & PRICING

See below for pricing on exhibition spaces and durations:

cSPACE Exhibition Space booking for 2-weeks: $350 (usually $480 without cSPACE x Exposure 2023 Discount)

cSPACE Exhibition Space booking for 1-month - $500 (usually $770 without cSPACE x Exposure 2023 Discount)

Exhibition spaces are bookable on a first-come first-serve basis.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• The deadline for Exposure’s Exhibition Registration is November 1st. If you secure a discounted exhibition space with cSPACE but do not register your exhibition with Exposure, you will not receive cSPACE’s discount for your exhibition space booking and will be billed the full amount in your final invoice from cSPACE.

• Exhibitions can take place for part or the whole month of February (Exposure’s festival month) to be eligible for an exhibition registration.

• The Exposure 2023 Exhibition Registration fee is $250 +gst.

HOW IT WORKS

1. BOOK A SPACE

To learn more about exhibition spaces at cSPACE, please contact cSPACE’s Manager, Events and Engagement, Erin MacLean-Berko via erin@cspaceprojects.com

2. SUBMIT AN EXHIBITION REGISTRATION (before November 1st)

Once you have secured your exhibition space with cSPACE, you should register your exhibition with Exposure using the following online Exhibition Registration form before the November 1st registration deadline.

Please note that the online registration form ask you to provide information such as: an exhibition title, exhibition description (long and short form), exhibiting artists, exhibition location, confirmed exhibition start and end dates, social media links and general space information (opening times and access).

3. WELCOME TO EXPOSURE 2023!

Once you have secured your exhibition space booking and have registered your exhibition with Exposure, you are now an official Exposure 2023 Exhibition Partner!

4. INSTALL THE EXHIBITION

Exhibition installation is the responsibility of the Artist. For information on hanging systems etc. please contact Erin MacLean-Berko via erin@cspaceprojects.com.

5. FESTIVAL LAUNCH 

Exposure Photography Festival will launch in February 2023. Our audiences will be guided to your exhibition through a dedicated exhibition webpage on the Exposure website, a feature in Exposure’s printed guide and promotion via Exposure’s social media.

6. DE-INSTALL THE EXHIBITION

Exhibition de-installation is the responsibility of the Artist.

7. FESTIVAL REPORT 

All Exposure Exhibition Partners will be included in the final festival report to community.
